Back Story

In 1998 Wallace Cogbill contracted out a wallpaper installation at a truck stop job he was leading. The gentleman was referred to by a friend of Mr. Cogbill and soon became a great asset and friend himself. This gentleman was Ronnie Zernial. After the wallpaper job was complete, Mr. Cogbill immediately wanted Ronnie to work with him. He was hired on as a carpenter and started with Wallace Enterprises April 1, 1998. Years passed and Wallace Enterprises became Cogbill Construction. Ronnie was a part of the expansion every step of the way. As Ronnie’s capabilities grew so did his talents. His leadership abilities put him at the front lines of Cogbill Construction as Forman and Production Manager. His kind heart and work ethics are what makes him a wonderful leader. “He is the heart-beat of Cogbill.” States Rhonda Cogbill, the general office manager, who has known Ronnie from the start. “He is Cogbill Construction”. Ronnie puts his soul into his work and after twenty years he still shines bright. Dwight D. Eisenhower once wrote “The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible, no matter whether it is on a section gang, a football field, in an army, or in an office.” Ronnie Zernial, thank you for using your integrity in leadership to help Cogbill Construction break down barriers. Last week our company celebrated the twenty-year service mark of a wonderful person. We are extremely grateful for all the work Mr. Zernial has done for us and continues to do. We appreciate his service and dedication to our company and the value he will add for years to come.
