Among Cogbill Construction’s versatile capabilities is pipe fabrication for both new construction and revamp/expansion projects. Pipe fabrication is a critical activity in the execution of capital projects within the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. It involves planning, scheduling, and executing, per the specific design requirements of the customer specifications. Pipe fabrication is the creation of piping spools that are comprised of various piping components such as pipe, elbows, tees, flanges, valves, etc. These pipe spools are created from piping isometrics, which are engineered drawings of overall piping systems.

At Cogbill Construction we have experienced and skilled craft persons capable of producing high quality, customized piping systems. Our fabrication facility and our teams consistently complete complex configurations in a wide range of sizes, from 1/2” diameter up to 72” diameter pipe, using materials that include carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys. All our work is performed under the guidelines established by ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). Our teams’ capabilities include pipe cutting, bending, beveling, and welding. The Cogbill Construction production department has pipe-fitters that are NCCER-certified with experience in ASME B31.3 Process Piping, and pipe welders certified per ASME Section IX for numerous processes including SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW, as well as combination processes.
