Tuesday’s agenda started with a fun game of safety trivia. Divided into three teams, the battle against each other for the win began. The safety question topics included: general shop, forklift, press break, plasma table, iron work, and hot weather safety. Thrown in were multiple bonus questions to keep things interesting. Each question a team scored correctly they earned a point. Each bonus question was worth two points and tasty candy. Team captains were the supervisors and the score keeper was our CEO. Teams battled hard through the twenty-one questions. After each question there was time for discussion. Everyone discussed why an answer was right or how important it is to remember the safety protocol. A surprise gift was at stake at the end and team three snagged it up fast. In the end it was a fun, new experience for the crew. Basic safety protocols were reiterated and all the fun boosted morale.
